WE ARE A MEMBER OF N.A.M.E.

We are a member of N.A.M.E, a professional member organization of Entertainers. This means that our DJ’s have been accredited by N.A.M.E to be Endorsed Professional Entertainers which requires members to take their standards to a higher level. The “Endorsed Professional Entertainer” (EPE) stamp is the equivalent of a “good housekeeping seal of approval” and sets those who attain it apart from the rest of the industry.

Spectrum Entertainment is a mobile sound and lighting company specializing in weddings, school dances, fundraisers, stage and professional sound and lighting, video, a photobooth, technical support, sales and service throughout Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Utah.
Robert Nelson, Owner of Spectrum Entertainment, started doing school dances at North Jr. High in Boise, Idaho at 13 years of age. At the age of 14 he started working at Déjà Vu as a disc jockey and production manager. Rob went on to work at BSU radio, in the late 80’s on the Mutant Pop Radio Show, and later to Q104 radio. He has also worked over 25 years as a Club DJ throughout the Pacific Northwest.
In 1986 he started working on a project called “The Festival of Trees” for Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, and this year will mark his 28th year working with them.
Over the last 30 years Spectrum Entertainment has helped raise over 20 million dollars for various groups and community events including; The Boise Philharmonic, Chef and the Gourmet, The American Heart Association, the Black History Museum, Hyde Park Festival, Saint Alphonsus Festival of Trees, Capitol Classic Kids Race, The United Way, Koman Race for the Cure, and the Apple Blossom Festival, and many more.
